Overview
Green Door Energy, LLC offers homebuilders and HVAC contractors consulting, inspection, diagnostic testing, and verification services while striving for superlative customer service. We offer HERS Ratings and above-code certifications such as ENERGY STAR New Homes and perform testing for utility-based incentive programs for builders. For our HVAC contractor clients, we offer Manual J load calculations and North Carolina Energy Conservation Code compliance testing services.
We try to have fun while performing our work duties, and integrity is at the core of what we do. Positivity and a laid-back atmosphere are key tenets at Green Door Energy. Both team members have intercultural families, and we love pets!
The ideal candidate would be a certified RESNET Rating Field Inspector or HERS Rater with experience in the field and/or be BPI certified, and ideally would have a base knowledge of home performance and building science.
Hourly wage is commensurate with experience. The offsetting of costs for training of uncertified candidates can be discussed.
