Job Description
Technical Responsibilities
+ Possess strong understanding of circuit breakers, transformers, UPS systems, and control systems.
+ Demonstrate excellent fabrication and bending skills of various sized conduits, including EMT, IMC, and rigid.
+ Exhibit strong practical skills with both hand tools and power tools.
+ Apply a methodical approach to work with the ability to make accurate measurements.
+ Stay current with industry developments and maintain the ability to work to a schedule with planned deadlines.
+ Have experience using industrial tools such as rigid benders, power ponies, and threaders.
+ Be capable of installing various cable trays, including ladder and basket types.
+ Demonstrate excellent understanding of cable management and be proficient in terminating large wires (350mcm and above), including copper and aluminum.
Leadership Responsibilities
+ Ensure the team is compliant with all organization safety and performance policies.
+ Conduct periodic performance reviews in alignment with the company's core initiatives and values.
+ Administer corrective actions and coaching sessions as needed, promoting accountability.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects within the assigned department.
+ Evaluate, coach, and mentor lead operators, senior operators, and team members.
+ Support department schedulers and provide production manager updates on daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
+ Set daily team goals and ensure consistent follow-through.
+ Resolve challenges that may affect team performance and goal attainment.
+ Communicate and promote relevant plant and department objectives to the team.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
+ Demonstrated leadership experience or a proven ability to lead through current work performance (e.g., willingness to work overtime when needed, strong reliability record, effective communication, and positive attitude).
+ Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with a willingness to learn additional tracking systems.
+ Self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues, track team member performance, utilize creative problem-solving, and coordinate team work schedules.
