Overview:
Art Expressions is a thriving art consulting firm specializing in providing turnkey art consulting services to the healthcare industry. Our operations are centered in our combined office and warehouse facility in Gurnee, IL, while we serve clients nationwide.
We seek a skilled and experienced individual to join our production and installation team as a Framer/Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for framing artwork at our production facility and installing it at hospitals and medical office buildings on behalf of our clients. The majority of installations occur locally and typically require only one day to complete. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the arts and has a keen eye for detail.
Job Responsibilities:
• Mount and assemble artwork
• Stretch canvases
• Cut wood frames, foam core, glass, plexiglass to spec.
• Operate various equipment such as mat cutters, frame joiners, saws, and screw guns
• Receive shipments and move materials
• Load and unload vehicles with artwork
• Deliver (drive) artwork to clients’ facilities
• Read floor plans
• Take accurate measurements and install artwork to specified measurements

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
