The Carpenter Avenue program is an apartment style residence located right near the heart of Mt. Kisco, NY. This program supports a total of 10 individuals. Both floors are co-ed and each floor has 5 individuals residing on it. Our upstairs unit supports one female and currently 3 males who are all very independent. They require some prompting to get through their ADLs, but are able to be left alone for greater periods of time. The downstairs apartments support individuals with a dementia or TBI diagnosis. One of the gentleman is wheel chair bound, the other uses a walker. The other 3 individuals are able to ambulate on their own. The house over all enjoys going out into the community whenever they can or participating in various in house activities to keep everyone busy. Some examples of activities the individuals enjoy are spa days for the ladies and working out on the treadmill or bike for the guys!
