Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to flatbed, tanker, and dump truck operations. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks of various types including flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Utilize forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading materials.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Skills

Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
Experience with tanker operations is a plus.
Strong background in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with flatbed trucking operations.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
Experience driving dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous.
Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
