Key Responsibilities
1. Design Expertise and Documentation
Develop detailed 3D renderings of project designs to align vision with execution.
Create and manage finish schedules, including material specifications and procurement details.
Produce accurate installation documentation for contractors and vendors.
Prepare and present project proposals, pricing, and design concepts to clients and brokers with clarity and professionalism.
2. Sales Growth and Client Relationships
Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring personalized, service-driven experiences.
Schedule regular product presentations with design firms and clients to showcase our newest collections.
Educate customers about our products, including customizations and exclusive subscriber promotions.
Stay on top of territory opportunities, keeping accounts updated and growing quarterly goals.
Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and maintain organized records of leads to foster consistent and effective engagement.
Research and identify potential clients through proactive outreach, leveraging online platforms and industry networks to generate self-sourced opportunities.
3. Project Management and Execution
Serve as the bridge between creative vision and real-world execution by overseeing the implementation of design plans.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to specifications.
Collaborate closely with the installation team to ensure a seamless experience with excellent execution.
Track and manage change orders seamlessly to meet project goals without sacrificing quality.
Maintain accurate documentation of all project updates, notes, client approvals, and relevant details.
4. Community Engagement and Networking
Foster relationships with the surrounding interior design community to grow awareness and appreciation for our luxury brand.
Research appropriate interior design firms, contacts, and opportunities in surrounding territories.
Represent Premier Blinds and Designs at design-oriented events to engage with current customers and attract new ones.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to connect with key influencers and decision-makers.
Collaborate with architects, builders, and designers to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial projects.
Position the brand as a trusted resource within the design and building community through consistent communication and effective engagement.
Develop joint initiatives that highlight shared expertise and drive long-term collaborations.
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of proven experience in design or a similar role in high-end residential or hospitality design.
5+ years in high-end sales/customer experience, preferably in the window treatment or furniture/design industry.
Knowledge of the history of furniture design, detailing styles and periods is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including delivering exceptional client presentations.
Professional and polished demeanor with the ability to interact with high-profile clients.
Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail in project execution, spelling, and material sourcing.
A passion for luxury design and a customer-focused approach to every project.
Ability to work in-person at our Atlanta office (this is not a remote position).
Preferred:
Proficiency in Studio Designer and HubSpot.
Familiarity with accounting principles, such as budgeting, pricing, and procurement.
Previous experience within the window treatment industry is a significant plus.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design or project management tools.
