Field/Service Technician
Job Summary:
As a Field/Service Technician at ICC Floors Plus, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring high-quality flooring installations by performing site pre-inspections, completing punch-list items, and handling service repairs for retail, commercial, and production projects. You will drive a company-provided vehicle to multiple job sites daily, ensuring timely resolution of issues while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-installation site inspections to identify and document potential issues before flooring installation.
Independently complete punch-list items and perform necessary repairs on installed flooring.
Evaluate completed projects for quality, compliance, and any necessary corrections.
Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with the Service and Installation Manager.
Ensure timely completion of billable tasks and prompt resolution of service requests.
Represent ICC Floors Plus with professionalism, dependability, and adherence to a substance-free workplace policy.
Use a company-provided vehicle to travel between multiple job sites daily and transport necessary tools and materials.
Work overtime as needed, particularly during peak production seasons.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Flooring experience is a plus but not required.
Hands-on construction experience is highly beneficial.
Must be physically fit, as the role involves frequent movement, material handling, and working in active construction environments.
A valid driver's license and good driving record are required for operating a company vehicle.
Strong problem-solving skills, self-sufficiency, and attention to detail.
