As a DCS Intern, you can expect to gain heavy civil construction experience by working closely with project management team members on a variety of key tasks, such as:
Assist the project management team and provide technical support
Responsible for reviewing timesheets, cost reporting, and submittals
Gain knowledge on the company’s self-performing trades; concrete, wet utilities, and grading
Assist project team in material and equipment procurement, planning and scheduling of activities
Attend and participate in job coordination meetings
Attend and participate in owner project meetings
Develop firm understanding of project scope of work and contract document
Develop your understanding of construction safety
Our Interns split their time between jobsites and the main office. Our jobsites are located in the Phoenix valley area.

Internship Qualifications:
Currently enrolled Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
High interest and eager to learn more about the construction industry
Not afraid to dive right in and ask questions
Supportive, team player with the mentality to do what is best for the success of the company and team members
Ability to work 40 hours Monday – Friday during the summer internship session
