Cleveland Carter Enterprises Inc., is a Sewer and Water Utilities company in Forest Park, GA that provides 24/7 Emergency Sewer and Water Repair.

We are looking for an experienced Pipelayer that is available to make repairs/installations as per specifications in a safe and effective manner observing all safety requirements to the following duties, including, but not limited to the following:

Essential responsibilities and duties:
- Lays out, assemble, and install pipe systems and pipe supports
- Applies industrial standard knowledge of system operation following blueprints
- Ability to shoot correct elevations
- Inspects job site to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain hole cut location
- Plans, installs, or repair to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering the traffic, pedestrians, or other work activities
- Cuts pipes using saw, pipe cutter, hammer, chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine
- Assembles and installs variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes, fittings, iron, steel, copper, and plastic
- Connect pipes using firm coat, caulking or cement with appropriate hand tools
- Secures pipe structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand/ power tools
- Operate and observe pressure gauges to test for leaks (water piping only)
- Performs job responsibilities safely in a stressful environment, operating and working varied under-footing and weather conditions around obstacles and persons
- Ensures the job site is clean of job materials, tools, supplies, and trash before leaving the site
- Works productively and efficiently for up to 12 hours per day. Working conditions are outdoors in all types of weather including heat, humidity, wind and mild cold

Job site conditions will vary, but will include loud noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles and vibrations
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Performs a daily heavy equipment pre-check of equipment used on the job
- Perform other tasks assigned

- Must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 75lbs (two men lift over 75lbs)

Education Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Sewer/Water Utilities construction
