Your Purpose in this Role
As a HVAC and Plumbing Estimator, you will provide comprehensive and accurate estimates for HVAC & Plumbing projects, stay updated with market trends, foster lasting relationships with clients, and enhance revenue streams.
Pay
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, performance and ongoing training attendance.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
Import and export projects plan and specifications in Bidtracer.
Send invitations to select vendors and update the status of quoted projects.
Conduct detailed job take-offs to ensure accurate evaluations that ensure profitability while offering value to customers.
Engage with clients to understand their needs, resolve any concerns, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Regularly update software tools and pricing data to ensure the estimating department remains competitive and has the highest chances of securing projects.
Internet research and utilizing other technology and software as needed.
Assist in prequalification of vendors and subcontractors.
Assist project manager in drafting proposals, request for information, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
Expected annual sales amount of $500,000 to $1,000,000.
Other duties as assigned in relation to the estimating position.
Qualifications
Experience using estimating softwares such as Fast Duct, Fast Pipe.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of integrity.
Adaptable and willing to meet the demands of the job, which may occasionally include extended working hours.
