Warehouse Associate - Plumbing & Electrical
We are looking for a warehouse associate with specialized knowledge in plumbing and electrical materials for new residential construction. MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH. The successful candidate will participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, picking, organizing and packing orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who specializes in the practices and processes of running an efficient warehouse and fleet. Knowledge of plumbing materials and sizes is an extra plus.
Responsibilities
· Serve as a liaison between the suppliers and warehouse team to ensure efficient practices are being implemented and sustained.
· Assess material distribution daily for scheduled jobs
· Process RMAs for overage and warranty materials to ensure credits are accurately issued.
· Stock inventory audit review and control; inventory cycle counting .
· Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and minimize errors
· Maintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control
· Involvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction
· Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse
· Administer the fleet operations including, toll tags, registrations, maintenance, and fleet tracking.
Skills
· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of warehouse principles; willingness to learn residential construction plumbing/electrical requirements.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems.
· Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, desire to learn, ability to communicate well and be fast paced.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Proactive in addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner.
· Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
· Knowledge of electrical materials for new residential construction is a plus
· Ability to lift heavy objects, 50 pounds
· Must have a valid Texas drivers license
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
Familiar with plumbing materials and sizes
Bilingual is a must. English and Spanish
High school diploma or equivalent
