Position Summary: Sales Intern
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team at Stanley Martin Homes. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales in a new home construction community, allowing you to develop your skills in a professional setting. You will assist with various sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals, while gaining insights into sales strategies and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in the meeting and greeting of customers in a professional manner while consulting with them to determine their needs and requirements in a new home and community.
Assist in providing customer service to all prospective homebuyers about Stanley Martin Homes and communities.
Assist in coordinating the opening and closing of sales office and/or model homes as needed
Assist ANSM and NSMS in market research.
Follow up with stalled leads and prospects to set appointments for the Neighborhood Sales Manager.
Complete all other duties as assigned by the manager.
Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers and home buyers.
Adhere to and promote Mission, Vision, and Values of Stanley Martin Homes.
Be available to support special events as needed.

Position Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Strong interest in sales and a desire to build a career in this field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
This position pays $18-20 per hour.
