**PC-Industrial** , powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a **Welder** to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the **Houston, TX** area. This team member will be responsible for Responsible for the welding, cutting, shaping and assembly of pressure vessels, pressure piping, structural skids and any general steel working required.

+ Welding materials together using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and/or GMAW (gas metal arc welding)

+ Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel)

+ Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc)

+ Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts.

+ Performing quality control

+ Following directions given in drawings, blueprints, and work orders

+ Pigging or refinery industry experience preferred but not required.

+ To work safely and adhere to all company and customer rules and regulations, including wearing all required PPE.

+ Help Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.

+ Help review all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work to ensure safety.

+ Ensure all equipment is functioning.

+ Help rig-in into fired heaters as needed.

+ Work at Industrial Owner Facilities across North America.

+ Be On Call 24/7 when requested.

+ Able to work shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night)

+ High School Diploma + specialized training or 1 year college

+ 3 – 5 years welding experience

+ Fabrication skills (e.g. cutting, grinding etc) essential

+ Required Certificate--GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding Certification

+ Required Certificate--SMAW (Shield Metal Arc Welding Certification) Stick welding
