Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) has been helping Humboldt County use energy more wisely for over 20 years. The Demand Side Management (DSM) Department has an opening for a Customer Programs Technician, who will be the frontline project manager and trusted energy adviser for local customers.

Under the supervision of a Program Manager, the Customer Programs Technician carries out the following activities:

• Perform energy assessments in homes, businesses, and public facilities.
• Review and analyze customer energy usage.
• Prepare customer energy reports and proposals for energy projects
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and energy program implementers.
• Manage a portfolio of energy projects from development through completion.
• Assist with design and implementation of new energy programs.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
