We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team for a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Document daily work progress and ensure accuracy

+ Prepare and track monthly progress payment requests, including changes, time and materials, and measurement of job quantities

+ Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

+ Work independently to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision

+ Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, construction workers, and the public

+ Demonstrate thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques within the trade

+ Inspect a variety of construction improvements to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications

+ Identify potential violations and hazards in new and existing installations and proactively address them during construction

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ High School diploma or equivalent (required)

+ 30-hour Cal OSHA training completed within the past 4 years (required)

+ ICC Certification (required)

+ Valid LADBS License (preferred)

+ Strong knowledge of building construction practices

+ Proof of NFPA 70E standards completion within the last three years (preferred)

+ At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Construction Inspection, Deputy Building Inspection, Electrical/IT Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Plumbing Inspection (preferably on large-scale and/or airfield projects)

**Compensation:**

$50-85 hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
