The Coconino County Recorder’s Office is seeking a Native American Outreach Specialist. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and motivated to provide voter education and access to election activities for Native American communities in remote locations within Coconino County and have the ability to work independently while representing the County's values and goals. Minimum Qualifications: Two years of progressively responsible experience in community outreach/organizing OR, any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position OR any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position. Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience; Native American community outreach experience; Navajo language proficiency; Experience working in an elections office; Computer and technology experience. Additional Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license; be a registered voter in Arizona during employment, and able to successfully pass a criminal background check. Must be able to speak Navajo and perform Navajo/English translation.
