How You Will Make an Impact:

As a Purchasing Manager, you will hold a crucial role supervising and ensuring inventory is replenished. A key part in this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors or suppliers.

Responsibilities:

+ Daily review of Issuance and Transaction reports

+ Managing day to day activities of the purchasing team

+ Managing procurement budget and preparing cost estimates

+ Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier database and procurement contracts

+ Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and or suppliers

+ Maintain a list of consumables and create an effective ordering schedule.

+ Check on aging PO’s

+ Request vendor quotes to ensure best pricing and value is being maintained

+ Create/distribute blanket PO’s – Monitor for adherence to cost restrictions

+ Create service PO’s – Monitor invoice receipts

+ Coordinate repair/return shipments and orders

Minimum Requirements:

+ The ability to communicate, written/verbal

+ High school Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both. Minimum one year driving experience

+ Candidates must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background check

+ Proficient in Microsoft operations

+ Attention to detail and problem solving skills

+ Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
