Description
We are seeking a skilled Architecture Designer to join our team based in Los Angeles, California. The role involves comprehensive design duties in a contract-based employment opportunity, offering the potential for long-term engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of architectural design, from the creation of finished plans to professional consultation on large complex projects.
Responsibilities:
• Independently produce finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction on moderate to large scale projects.
• Provide professional consultation and coordination of the planning and development of construction and design document production.
• Execute site visits and perform construction administration duties, such as responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting punch list reviews.
• Create and review project reports, estimates, calculations, specifications, and compile/analyze relevant data.
• Monitor billing efficiency rates and work towards maximizing team’s quality and efficiency in assigned tasks.
• Proactively coordinate meetings with clients, project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure trust and confidence.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced project associates and interns.
• Involve explorations of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of complex or novel concepts and methods.
• Contribute innovative design ideas that consistently capture the intended design vision.
• Contribute to bold design solutions that balance scale, aesthetics, and context to maximize the impact on the individual and community.
Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Competency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with creating and managing digital advertisements
• Knowledge of AP Style
• Demonstrated ability to enhance brand awareness through design
• Strong drawing skills
• Experience in both architecture and interior design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and a high degree of creativity
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred Innovation starts with people.®
