LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O'Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450;Eastern Monroe Career Center

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-Month Position, Full-Time

STARTING DATE: October 2024

SALARY RANGE: $32,250 - $50,229 per school year

*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

We are searching for motivated and energetic individuals to serve as a Teaching Assistant in our Welding and Fabrication program. Check out the duties and qualifications below!

DUTIES:

1. Assist teacher in providing instruction for high school students in the Welding and Fabrication program.

2. Work cooperatively with the Welding and Fabrication teacher to support student needs.

3. Assist teacher in maintaining a safe and orderly environment, especially in the lab (workshop) area.

4. Assist teacher in maintaining student records such as attendance.

5. Attend faculty meetings and other department functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Welding and Fabrication field.

2. Willingness to obtain NYS Teaching Assistant certification.

3. Willing to work with high school students.

4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
