Description

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that a business is able to acquire needed supplies, materials and other relevant items, following a budget and keeping records of all the transactions. This position works closely with clinical and administrative staff across the organization. Reports directly to the Director of Purchasing.

Qualifications

Requirements:

+ Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.

+ Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.

+ Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.

+ Preparing and issuing purchase orders.

+ Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.

+ Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

+ Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.

+ Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.

+ Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.

+ Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements.

+ Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

+ Travelling between sites to deliver PPE/Supplies.

+ Budget and accounting principals

+ Keyboard data entry

+ Motor vehicle operation

+ Computer software proficiency

+ High school or High School Equivalency Diploma - Required
