-Assigning and supervising plumbing personnel engaged in installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems.
-Overseeing and inspecting the installation and repair of plumbing equipment, fixtures, and apparatus, such as pipes, sinks, traps, valves, faucets, vents, and pumps.
-Estimating labor and material costs for jobs, maintaining records, and requisitioning necessary materials and supplies.
-Planning and organizing work based on oral and written instructions.
Conducting regular inspections of ongoing work and completed projects, and occasionally participating in more complex plumbing tasks.
-Collaborating with the Project Manager on proposed plumbing projects and offering recommendations.
-Recruiting and training plumbing trade personnel.
Be able to read submittal data and RFI's.
-Provide the project manager with information to write RFI when needed.
Keep and update redline drawings.
-Establishing safety and work performance standards for subordinates in accordance with Javits Center policies and procedures.
-Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-Clean Driving Record.
-Strong knowledge of the IPC requirements.
-Current OSHA 30 Card (Or willing to get it in the first 6 weeks of employment.)
-Ability to run projects in the $50,000 to $200,000 range.
-5+ Years of Experience in Commercial Plumbing.
