Position Overview: As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team to learn and develop skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EV chargers. This role offers hands-on experience in a rapidly growing industry, where you'll contribute to shaping a sustainable future for a cleaner and greener transportation experience while supporting our local communities needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, wiring and commissioning of EV charging stations for residential and commercial clients.
Learn to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform maintenance and repairs as needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with senior electricians to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Enthusiasm for learning and developing skills in the electrical field.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components (preferred).
Basic knowledge of internet and wireless connections and trouble shooting.
Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from senior technicians.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in or completion of a relevant technical program is a plus.
