I. Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled painting duties at a company facility.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

+ Paints, varnishes, stains, enamels, lacquers, and redecorates walls, woodwork, and fixtures of the facility.

+ Mixes paint and matches colors.

+ Uses brushes, sprayers, or rollers to apply paint or other coatings.

+ Removes old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or blowtorches.

+ Fills in nail holes, joints and cracks in walls with plaster or fillers.

+ Estimates time and material costs on painting and redecorating projects.

+ Completes purchase requisitions to obtain new painting supplies and equipment.

+ Performs additional duties as requested.

The salary range for this position is $22. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
