Job Title: Construction Inspector

Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated and competent Construction Inspector to perform a variety of tasks. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the inspection and observation of residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects. This involves overseeing site clearing, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and pavement construction. The successful candidate will also serve as a liaison between Engineering Staff and contractors, assist in the administration of construction contracts, and work cooperatively with a range of stakeholders to resolve various project challenges. In addition, they will be responsible for preparing project-related correspondence, ensuring project sites conform to plans and specifications, and aiding in project bidding and construction administration phases. The Construction Inspector will also be expected to independently solve problems and monitor project schedules to ensure the achievement of project milestones.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Savannah, Georgia.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will report to the office daily from Monday to Friday, between 7AM - 5PM. The role entails working with clients and contractors to ensure successful construction efforts with limited outside assistance. This is a high-energy position ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment. The candidate must have their GA NPDES Construction Stormwater for this role and will be expected to provide site inspection and construction observation services in support of our engineering projects in Savannah and surrounding areas.
