Job Overview:
Overhead Door Company of Charleston is seeking resumes from qualified and motivated individuals to join our growing gate and access control division. Candidates resumes shall show experience in physical security systems, and automated gate systems. Working knowledge with manufactures equipment such as Liftmaster, Door King, HY Security, Axis Communications, 2N and others. Candidates with manufacturer's certifications are a plus. Must have ability to physically work with ladders, man lifts, scissor lifts, electrical tools and test equipment.

Duties:
- Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of gate systems.
-Work with low voltage and high voltage equipment.
-Install IP cameras, telephone entry and deploy and troubleshoot video management systems.
-Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks.
-Follow safety protocols and observe company policies and procedures.
-Perform field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturer's technical support.
-Complete work order tickets utilizing company's service and time software.
-Utilize technical knowledge to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
Experience:- - Previous experience as a security gate technician preferred.
-Experience with local area networks, IP addressing, client configurations a plus.
-Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems.
-Welding experience a plus.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
-Good communication skills.
-Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and have a clean driving record.
-Reliable and self-motivated.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $40,000.00- $60,000.00 per year.
