This role will support our Nestle Premium Waters (NPW) division, under Nestle USA, focused on elevating iconic brands including San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Perrier and Essentia. As part of the NPW Sales team, you will gain valuable experience by supporting key objectives focused on cultivating demand, equity, and elevating our premium waters. We are currently seeking a **National Account Manager** , reporting to the Sr. National Manager of Restaurant Chains. This position will be responsible for the management of headquarter activities with restaurant chains and large groups. This role will be home-based in Eastern US with travel.

**Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:**

+ Lead, develop, and ensure implementation of customer strategies that are aligned with the overall Foodservice market business strategy, and support the achievement of profitable sales objectives

+ Develop and deliver effective selling presentations that implement approved customer plans

+ Penetrate new customer opportunities identified in the Foodservice market business strategy

+ Improve customer performance through frequent and effective negotiation

+ Participate in customer trade shows, conferences, and events

+ Own responsibility for the customer marginal contribution and effectively manage assigned financial objectives

+ Learn all facets of customer and channel dynamics to align on customer priorities

+ Work closely with regionally based Regional Business Managers to maximize property level execution of key growth initiatives

+ Work closely with cross-functional colleagues including DSD, customer service, finance, supply chain, customer development and marketing

+ Utilize management tools (dashboards, Power BI, etc.) to analyze data on a variety of critical business drivers to improve results

+ Develop customer business plans for restaurant chains and large group partners to support divisional goals

+ Develop timely and accurate volume and financial forecasts

+ Own customer relationship from end to end (new customer set up, finance, supply chain, customer development and marketing)

+ Participate in training, relationship building and experiences to highlight strengths and focus on opportunities

+ Sophisticated Account Management skills which combines category and customer insights, Nestlé business objectives / strategies, customer objectives / strategies, understanding of our tools that deliver the expected business results

+ Ability to manage all aspects of a complex customer

**Qualifications**

**Experience and Education Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree required

+ 5+ years of professional sales experience specifically in FoodService

+ Experience with national restaurant chains, and hotel chains, 3rd party marketing agencies, and brokers

+ Up to 30-40% travel availability required

+ Strong history of delivering sustainable growth and exceeding customer plans

+ Proven track record in sales planning and customer P&L management

+ Solid analytical and technical skills in MS Office, with good working knowledge of MS Excel

+ Product Portfolio Channel Experience: Preferable, experience selling within a lodging channel with knowledge of channel dynamics

+ Relationship Building: Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships internally and at customer level

+ Presentation Building Skills: Development of presentation documents drawing from all available sources

+ Presenting Skills: Skilled at delivering presentations in both one-on-one and group environments

+ Negotiating Skills: The ability to achieve pre-planned results in a meeting or discussion by negotiating for those results with an individual or group

**Preferred Skills**

+ Prior experience selling premium bottled water in national accounts

+ Advanced Knowledge of interrelationship of key functions and their key initiatives (Field Sales, CCSD, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, a/o CDSO, Globe and HR)

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
