ABOUT THE ROLE
Honeywell Aerospace is looking for a Sr. Procurement Buyer to join the Direct Charge Government Contracts Procurement Team. This role can be located at one of the Honeywell sites located in Glendale, AZ, Phoenix, AZ or Clearwater, FL.
As a Senior Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible that purchased goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. You will hold responsibility for a specific project /region /business or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing. You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors. You will deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services off defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. Also, may include occasional one-off negotiations for non-standard buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Deliver on customer needs
+ Review and monitor purchase requisitions and purchase orders
+ Manage supplier communication
+ Understand market trends
+ Deal with invoice discrepancies
+ Ensure compliance with strategic procurement
+ Project Management
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 3 + years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
+ High School Diploma
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred
+ ERP systems experience (SAP is a plus)
+ Ability to prioritize and do problem solving independently
+ Strong communication skills and a team player
+ Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience
+ Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
