**Job Title: Buyer**

**Job Summary:**

The USPS Buyer will be responsible for coordinating the efforts multiple team members who are responsible for identifying, evaluating, setting up and monitoring USPS dedicated Service Providers, updating information, managing the Vendor Matrix data, JDE, etc. This position will report to the Category Manager and will work in collaboration with Account Managers and Operations as part of project management team. Other responsibilities include ensuring the team is following processes and meeting the expectations of our customers.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Oversees the planning, execution, follow up and communication for onboarding initiatives. Delegate tasks to coordinators and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.

+ Manage contracts, provide reporting and support the initiatives of the team. Work with the team to develop a network of preferred service providers.

+ Manage, execute and communicate standardized processes and procedures to the team and the company. Work with the Director of Procurement to identify and implement process efficiencies.

+ Assist in employee development focusing on both training for their current job and developing skills for future roles and responsibilities.

+ Participate in sourcing activities when required to ensure deadlines and goals are achieved.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience.

+ 3-5 years of facility management experience preferred.

+ Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
