TRC is seeking a Building Science and Technical Support Engineer to contribute to our California Residential New Construction electrification portfolio. This role will have the opportunity to lead the future of California’s next step in electrification. This individual will report to the Building Science and Technical Engineering Manager and support initiatives in exploratory research, data analysis, performing energy modeling and building simulations. They will use their research and data analysis to advise the California regulatory entities on advanced strategic residential electrification initiatives. This individual will have the opportunity to apply their proficient building science technical knowledge to drive meaningful changes to the California energy and electrification market. They will also communicate their findings and technical expertise to collaborate with a cross-functional team that consists of program management, operations, outreach, marketing, IT, and other support staff.
