Responsibilities You will maintain and repair installed electrical systems such as lighting fixtures, power fixtures and wiring, power sources, and fire alarm systems. You will locate broken, worn, damaged, or poorly operating wiring, fixtures, controls, and equipment through visual checks or through use of test equipment. You will remove, replace, tighten, splice, solder, and insulate defective wiring, controls, equipment, and fixtures. You will use a limited variety of test equipment, such as meggers, test lamps, and ammeters. You will read, interpret, and apply blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, National Electrical Code, specifications, and related requirements.
