Hope Academy is currently hiring for the 2021/2022 school year at our campus in Mesa.
Hope Academy specializes in providing education to all students on the Autism Spectrum from Kindergarten - 12th grade. We strive to provide quality service and a positive environment for our students.
Duties may include the following:
Be a great role model for all students
Assist students within the classroom in small or whole group instruction
Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher
Assist students during school provided specials (music therapy, art class, cooking class, field trips, etc)
Execute redirect behaviors or behavior modifications
Data tracking and collection

Qualifications
High school or equivalent
Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum (1 year +)
Special Education (preferred 2 years +)
Classroom Experience (preferred 2 years +)
Direct Care Provider (preferred 1 year +)
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one
Must pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return to duty drug and alcohol tests
CPR & 1st Aid Certification or ability to obtain certification
Ability to pass background and reference checking
Driver License: Valid and in good standing
