**Overview**

**Great Hills Constructors, a member of The Walsh Group** is currently seeking a **Pipelayer** for the **WWTT/183 North Mobility Project** , in **Austin, Texas** .

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

**Responsibilities**

_Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_

+ Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures

+ Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment

+ Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

**Qualifications**

+ 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred

+ Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

+ Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

+ Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

+ Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
